Grandi Lavori Fincosit S.p.A’s origins go back to 1905. The company Società Anonima Lavori of Genoa’s harbour was in fact founded in that year and it soon turned into Fincosit S.p.A. The company has worked for sixty years and has specialized in the civil and sea field until 1968, when it merged with the SALCI S.p.A. from Milan thus widening its skills in the electrical production installations and the transport infrastructures. In 1989, its great entrepreneurial experience was added to the same heritage of Grandi Lavori S.p.A from Rome, another company belonging to the group that developed soon after the second world war, above all in the building field (civil and industrial, traditional and prefabricated) and also in the road, railway and earth fields.

The synergies and skills belonging to the most important sectors of the civil engineering were gathered in a single company called Grandi Lavori Fincosit S.p.A. featuring the following specializations: Buildings, Infrastructures, Sea Works, Hydraulic and electric energy production installations.

The company operated through its branches in Italy and abroad and participates in Cooperatives and Joint Ventures with other companies.
